Russell N. King

October 5, 1917 - April 2, 2015

Russell N. King, 97, of South Norwalk, husband of the late Lillian Stevens, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 in the Norwalk Hospital.

Born October 5, 1917 in Orange, NJ, he was the son of the late Russell E. and Emma Noel King.

Mr. King was a resident for South Norwalk for 70 years. He was a graduate of the Notre Dame class of 1940 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and went on to work for Nash Engineering for almost 50 years. He also kept a sailboat (which he built himself), on the 5-Mile River for 50 years.

He is survived by his son Russell N. King Jr. and his wife Faith of Norwalk, and daughter Marsha Boiros and her husband George of Cape Cod. He is also survived by his four grandchildren Russell G. King, William N. King, Pamela Boiros and Richard Boiros and three great-grandchildren, Lilly King, William N. King Jr. and Grace Boiros.

In addition to his wife, Mr. King was predeceased by his brother Grenville.

At his request, all services were private.
