  • As a Judge, Captain and Friend, Tom was a beacon of hope and joy for all who came in contact with him. He cast his light of intelligence, humor and compassion upon a great sea of old friends and new friends alike. He will be dearly missed in person by us, but will live on in our hearts and memories.

  • I am sorry for your loss of Tom, and I send my condolences to his family. For a number of years growing up together, I spent time with Tom and knew his family. Tom and I often walked together to South School and back home. I remember him fondly. I grew up in the neighborhood at 115 Straits Turnpike. Over the years I have learned and am proud of his career and success.

  • Dear Mrs. Nadeau and family,

It was my honor and pleasure to know Tom first as an attorney in Bridgeport and then as a Judge. We shared boating stories and somehow his love of family always came through in each conversation. I know you will miss him terribly and hope that the esteem in which he was held by the legal community will buoy your sprits. My sympathy on his passing. Chris Carveth
