  • Jerry, I am so very sorry to learn of Todd’s passing. I had no idea. I visit Ridgefield Hardware often and regularly for all my household needs. I remember seeing your son there always with a smile on his face and willing to help me. I too was widowed when my husband passed at the age of 36 because of cancer, leaving me with 2 young boys to raise. I am hopeful the people of Ridgefield will be there for you and your daughter-in-law. YOU have been there for me; always willing to help me when I came into Ridgefield Hardware looking for a resolution to a problem I was having with my home. Your kindness and helpfulness always mean a lot to me. My sincere condolences to you and your family during this very difficult time. I am so very sorry for your loss.

  • My heart goes out to the Rabin family on this terrible tragic loss. Todd was a wonderful Ridgefield leader who cared about his family business and the community. I have fond memories of his friendship with Josh Lander in my Norwalk days at Cong. Beth El. May his family be comforted and may Todd’s name and memory always be a blessing and an inspiration.

  • To the Rabin family, friends and hardware crew… My deepest condolences go out to all of Todd’s family. He was more than a friend to me as I could always confide in him the things that were going on in my world. We enjoyed many a trips together driving to hardware events, seminars and stores to visit. His love of the Yankees certainly gave me fits as a Red Sox fan, but that is some of the things that made our friendship special. My geography has changed and prior commitments this week will not allow me to be with him and family at the services. He is with me in spirit and will always hold a dear spot in my heart. May his pain and suffering be no more and may he join dearly departed loved ones, including his Mom. We’ll all miss you “bud”…

  • I was saddened to hear of Todd’s passing. Many years have passed since we went to West Rocks together – that said I remember that while Todd wasn’t the biggest kid growing up he was one of the toughest and he had a huge heart. I know that these are traits that served Todd well later in life. The world has lost a good man. That said I am happy to have known Todd and I am sure that I can speak for all who knew him that we are all richer for it. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.

  • Dear Jerry, I am so saddened at the news of the loss of your extraordinarily kind and sweet and son, Todd. Todd was a ray of sunshine at the store whenever he approached and asked, ” ‘Need some help?” And he always dignified even some of my unusual requests with his warm smile, genuine humanness his sincere eagerness to help. When I lost my daughter Heather some years ago; and then later when Gary died, your genuine expressions of kindness and genuine concern were of true comfort to me. It’s no wonder that you and your wife produced such a fine human being in the form of Todd. Your family (in and out of the store) is an abiding credit to you as well as a treasured asset to all of us in Ridgefield. May the God of all Comfort comfort you in your time of sadness and loss. With sincere sympathy, Carolyn Vozzo
