A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday June 1st at 10:00 AM at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk, CT. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue. Norwalk.

Vera Mola Campbell


March 11, 1929 - May 23, 2018

Vera Mola Campbell, 89, life-long Norwalk resident and wife of the late John A. (Jack) Campbell Jr. passed away May 23, 2018. Born March 11, 1929, she was the daughter of the late James and Madeline Fant Mola.

Vera was a hard worker her whole life, working at the Silvermine Tavern, Hat Corp during WWII and retiring at age 82 from Stop & Shop. Most of all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her son John A. Campbell III and his wife Andrea, daughters Christina Campbell Simeone and Melodie Campbell Emond and her fiance Robert Hope, by her nine grandchildren Cynthia King, Kathleen Tart, Donald DiPalma, Crystal DiPalma Horner, Raymond Emond III, Kyle Emond, Amanda Emond by five great grandchildren, Lilly King, Billy King, Joseph Tart, Jack Tart and Hannah Horner. She is also survived by her three siblings, Lois M. Speilman, Larry Mola, and Elizabeth M. Millard.  She was predeceased by her son Kevin.
