Vivian K. Bogdanowicz

Vivian K. Bogdanowicz, 93, wife of the late George Bogdanowicz, died January 2, 2019, at Harbor Point of Centerville , Ma. She was born June 12, 1925, in Norwalk, Ct. and was the daughter of Ovaline and Harold Braisted.
Vivian graduated from Norwalk High School and went on to become an Executive Secretary for the Red Cross and Nash Engineering. She retired from Nash Engineering in 1984. Vivian enjoyed world travel, cooking for family, entertaining friends and knitting, her specialty was baby booties!
Vivian was preceded in death by her brother, Harold (Bud) Braisted; niece, Sharon Springer; great nephew, James Springer, Jr. and mother in law, Janina (Babcia) Bogdanowicz.
Her survivors include three nieces, Carol Shahbazian and Lynne Zuffranieri (Ben Zuffranieri) of Phoenix, AZ and Beth Jeter (Walter (Bud) Jeter) of Onset, MA; four step grandchildren, Alex, Adam, Amanda and Alyssa Bogdan; and daughter in law, Robin Bodgan of Norwalk; and many cousins. We give our love and a special thank you to our cousin, Mark Manville, who assisted us with Vivian’s care later in life.
Services will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave, Norwalk, CT, on Friday, January 11, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT.
